2. What we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form we collect:
- your name and work email address;
- your company name and your message, if you provide them;
- your agreement to our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.
If you email us directly, we collect the information in your email.
Information collected automatically. When you send the contact form, we also record:
- the page you sent it from, and any campaign tags in the page address (such as
utm_source), which tell us how you found us; - your IP address, used to prevent spam and abuse;
- the result of a Cloudflare Turnstile security check, which runs in your browser to tell people from bots and may process technical signals about your browser and device.
Like any website, our hosting provider processes technical data such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the Website and protect it from attacks.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the Website is not intended for anyone under 18.
3. How we use it
We use your information to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss our services with you;
- record your enquiry in our customer relationship management (CRM) system so our team can follow up;
- understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve the Website;
- keep the Website and contact form secure and prevent spam, fraud and abuse;
- comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contact form to send you marketing unless you have agreed to it.
Legal bases (EEA and UK visitors). We process your information to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, for our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, growing our business and securing the Website, and where required to comply with the law. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with:
- our CRM provider, which stores enquiries and helps our team manage them;
- Cloudflare, Inc., which hosts the Website, processes requests to it including the contact form, and provides the Turnstile security check;
- professional advisers, authorities and regulators, where required by law or to protect our rights;
- a buyer or successor, if our business is reorganised, sold or merged.
Our service providers may only use your information to provide services to us and must protect it.
5. International transfers
We are based in Canada, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where we transfer personal information out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and follow up. If no business relationship results, we delete or anonymise enquiry data within 24 months, unless we need to keep it longer for legal reasons. If you become a client, we keep information for the periods required by law, including anti-money-laundering record-keeping rules.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We store one setting in your browser (local storage) to remember your cookie notice choice. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Website against attacks and bots.
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the footer.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under Canada’s PIPEDA, the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to:
